TAGU; Empowering The Girl Child To Realize Her Potential
As a community-based organization (CBO) based in Adjumani, at the Train A Girl Uganda (TAGU) we work to identify and address the vulnerabilities, predisposing factors, and impediments that have contributed to a prolonged rise in gender inequality and the violence that is associated with it in the target areas. Operational partners supporting our programs include but are not limited to government organizations, non-governmental organizations, and private donors. established in September 2020. The founding members of Train a Girl Uganda (TAGU) were inspired to create a nonprofit organization to further the noble cause by their love for serving mankind, their commitment to gender equality, and their desire to empower girls and women.

To Empower The Girl Child To Realize Her Potential So As To Achieve Gender Equality And To Reduce The Prevalence Of Gender Based Violence By Addressing The Vulnerabilities And Risk Factors That Predispose Girls And Women To Violence.

TAGU is fully registered as a Community Based Organization in Adjumani District with Adjumani District Local Government. Community contributions, grants, and donations from partners serve as our main source(s) of funding.
Operational partners supporting our programs include but are not limited to government organizations, non-governmental organizations, and private donors. Your assistance will enable us to continue our work and will enable you to join us in identifying and removing the weaknesses, predisposing factors, and obstacles that have led to a persistent rise in gender inequality and the violence that it has brought about in the target areas. Government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private funders are just a few of the operational partners that support our activities.
